How it works
ClickPop injects a content script on every page. When you click anywhere, it creates a ripple animation at your cursor position and plays a short audio clip from your selected sound pack.
The audio engine uses the Web Audio API and only initializes on your first click (browsers block audio autoplay until there’s user interaction). Sound files are bundled with the extension — no network requests on click.
The ripple is a CSS animation that expands and fades out in 300ms. It uses
prefers-reduced-motion to automatically disable itself for users who have
reduced motion enabled in their system settings.
Privacy
ClickPop doesn’t collect any data. No analytics, no tracking, no telemetry.
Sound files are bundled with the extension — nothing is downloaded from external
servers. Settings are stored locally via chrome.storage.sync. The extension
only requests storage permission — no host permissions, no tabs, no browsing
history access.

How do I change the sound pack or volume?
Click the ClickPop icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the popup. From there you can toggle the extension on/off, select any of the 4 sound packs, and adjust the volume slider.
What is the ripple animation?
